Nige has been an extremely passionate angler since 1985 when trolling for mackerel from the family boat in cardigan bay. From then on in fishing has been at the forefront of his mind, both in home waters and volumes of experience fishing far flung parts of the globe. Nige is on the UK Pro Team for Penn, Abu Garcia, Berkley and Spiderwire lines, plus owner of the fishing apparel brand, Fresh Salt ltd….. Now with a strong focus on lure and fly fishing in salt, brackish and fresh waters, home and abroad. The home waters of the Llyn Peninsula and its coastline is a firm favourite of Nige’s and he has spent decades chasing European Seabass and a multitude of other saltwater predators to great effect and is ready to put you on the hotspots that he has come to know so well over the years. He is as thrilled to see a client getting stuck into fish as he is hooking into one himself. He will do his upmost to find and hopefully connect you with your target saltwater predator regardless of your experience. When the saltwater season draws to a close, Nige returns to the beautiful Welsh Dee valley, guiding customers in search of Pike on the lower river and moves to the middle river at the beginning of March to pursue the highly regarded, yet elusive Atlantic Salmon..... whatever your target Nige will do his very best to avoid disappointment!!
